Gentle Monster presents
Jentle Home, a collaboration collection with BLACKPINK’s Jennie. Jentle Home
offers a series of diverse frames, from retro to oversized sunglasses, readily
available to be styled to any occasion. The collection also features a special
accessory collection of eyewear chains accentuated with a signature JENTLE
logo.
The collection,
which features glasses, sunglasses, eyewear chains, and more, is inspired by
memories from Jennie’s childhood. According to Gentle
Monster, that means a lot of teddy bears and dollhouses.
Pieces in the
collection include a clear acetate cat-eye frame called “1996,” a reference to
Jennie’s birth year; a silver, gradient-lensed frame named “Daisy”; as well as
two gold and silver glasses chains alternately titled “Sunlight” and
“Moonlight,” which feature detailing with Jennie’s initials. There’s even a sunglasses
frame called “Kuku,” named after Jennie’s much-beloved pomeranian Kuma. The
collection has been out for a few hours but, as expected, some of the styles
are already sold out
While Jennie’s been a fashion
favorite for many brands in the past (she’s modeled for Chanel Korea
Beauty and attended several of the label’s shows), this is her first-ever
collaborative collection. Does this mean she’ll have more collections in the
future? We can’t say but we definitely have our fingers crossed!
Both Jennie and the other members of
BLACKPINK have been killing the fashion game and beyond recently. While there’s
still no update on Lisa’s possible upcoming fashion line,
BLACKPINK was featured in a recent Adidas
campaign, and “Kill This Love” was even featured
on To All The
Boys: P.S. I Still Love You.
